As I hopped into a cab to head east to the airport, and I realized there are a lot of people out there who may not even know they have a travel problem.
The first step to recovery is always to identify and admit you have a problem. Perhaps coming clean will help with problems like:
- You arrive into a city on a train, and the only sightseeing you do is on the way from the station to the destination
- Best dinner you had all week was at a small place in Korean Town, with a travel and deal support group
- One for Travel Bloggers: You have at least 20 sets of pictures for trip reports to the city you just visited, but you are too busy visiting the city to write about them
- You leave the city in a taxi to fly “home” for just enough time to squeeze in a two day “layover”
- The last time you watched your favorite show on TV was not at home, but on the in-flight entertainment system from a plane
- You have a great meal at your favorite restaurant, at the airport!
Even though there are a lot of people out there with a travel problem, you’ll be hard pressed to find one that will admit it 🙂
A wise man once said “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.†Life moves pretty fast at the speed of travel.
