I just placed a sweet order through the Chase portal. Drugstore.com has 7 points per dollar (they had 9 just the other day, oh well.) They always have free shipping on orders $25 or more.
Here’s what I ordered
- 4 NeilMed sinus rinses for an upcoming trip (pre-mixed) because I don’t want to have to worry about finding distilled water in the islands. 25% off of the price listed on NeilMed website.
- 6 Organic Baby Food pouches – Buy 5 get one FREE.
The Deal
I found a promotion code that gave me $5 off of a $40 purchase.
- Use promotion code: 6E5918C4 to save $5 off a $40 purchase
So, I spent only $35 and got free shipping and 245 points for buying more items that I needed anyway for our trip. I spent only $1.15 per organic baby food pouch which is better than most grocery stores and got 25% savings on the NeilMed.
The Bottom Line
United’s shopping portal was 6 miles per dollar and the American Airlines shopping portal was 4 miles per dollar.
Instead we used the Chase Ultimate Rewards Shopping Portal to earn 7 points per dollar. This transaction yielded 245 Chase points (which can be converted to United Airlines, Hyatt, Korean Air, and other programs) for normal items that I needed anyway, was delivered to my door for free, and the best part is I ordered the items from the comfort of my couch!
