Dueling Delta Giveaway – Tumi Amenity Kit Giveaway

I really like when I get an airline amenity kit that can be reused, especially when it is nice quality. Some airlines offer great amenity kits that can be reused. For example, American Airlines offers a really cool First Class Amenity kit that can double as an iPad case. But other airlines offer amenity kits that are difficult to reuse due to lack of quality. I’d throw in my experience with Singapore Air’s Business Class amenity kit and Air Seychelles amenity kit. They are more tokens than a reusable kit.

But Delta has recently announced their new Tumi Amenity Kit and it has been well received. There are even reports that it’s going for some serious money over on ebay. In addition to being really cool fabric and a good enough size to reuse, it comes with MALIN+GOETZ products like lip moisturizer and hand / body moisturizer. The black Tumi eye shades are great as well. Lastly, it includes a Delta Plastic (Metal-look) pen, ear plugs, facial tissue & hand wipe, shoe polish & shoe horn, toothbrush, Crest complete toothpaste 24g & dental floss, an unbreakable Comb, and grippe socks.

  1. I got my first kit flying 1st class ATL/MAN in 1994 to visit my parents. It was the last time I saw my Dad becasue he dropped dead from a heart attack 5 days later. I used the amenity kit bag for about 10 years until it fell apart. It always rememnded me of my Father.

  2. i actually store electronics while traveling… iphone cord, charger, plug converter, headphones, memory cards, sim cards, etc.

  3. I use the round Delta Amenity kit to store electronics as well as some first aid items.

  4. I usually donate them to soldier I see (I work with military) and give them a reason to smile when walking around looking down.
If I use them, its for storing my wires and toys for my car when traveling

  5. The best way was to take it with me when not traveling in buisness class on trip in US.

  6. Reused mine as a travel kit for my 2 yr old.. Fits crayons (triangular ones that don’t roll off the tray) small notebook, and some other toys for the road. Even holds my sons iPod touch.

  7. Sunglasses, sunglasscloth, and sunglasses travel cleaning spray. Essential to protect it at the beach!

  8. I use mine for storage at home and while traveling. Meds, cords/cables for charging, first aid kit. I have “kits” everywhere – car, backpack, rollaboard, etc that are always ready to go.

  9. I use it to store the various cables, chargers, batteries, etc. for items I take on my trip.

  10. I have several different amenity kits which I update whenever receiving a better kit. My gym kit contains different product than my daybag kit which in turn contains different product than my longer trip kit. I also have a kit which use to keep the many inches of cards I have to carry (i.e. lounge memberships, various hotel elite cards, gift cards, retailler loyalty cards, etc.)

  11. I like to use it with my own personal items along with the items that come with it.

  12. I use it to store hotel bath amenities. When it’s full, I drop it off to the salvation army.

  13. I use an old amenity case for all my non 3-1-1 bathroom products. Mainly toothbrush, electric razor, solid deodorant, and hair brush.

  14. I use it for toiletries, makeup. I travel with more than one toiletry bag which probably means I take too much.

  15. I give them to visiting houseguests and have them sitting on the towels in the guestroom.

  16. Use it to hold several small chargers for phone, camera, etc…(not the big BRICK charger that most laptop’s use, but the smaller kind for most other electronics)

  17. The old Swissair amenity kit was more like an envelope, but I used mine to store various electronic cords and accessories.

  18. I use my kit as a ready to go anytime toiletry bag for those last minute minutes. All packed and ready at a moments notice
