The 10,000 points per stay can be a great way to rack up points to redeem at some of best properties Club Carlson has to offer. For example, earlier this year we shared our Top Four Club Carlson Award Redemptions that you could use your points to redeem free hotel nights.

Another great way to earn Club Carlson points is the Club Carlson Premier Rewards Visa Signature® Card which offers a total of 85,000 bonus points after signing up and meeting spending requirements.

You must be a Club Carlson^SM member to participate in the “Two Nights 10,000 Points” promotion (“Promotion”). To be eligible to earn 10,000 bonus Gold Points® (“Bonus Points”), members must register online for the Promotion, provide their Club Carlson number at the time of reservation or at check-in, and pay for a stay of two or more consecutive nights on a Gold Point eligible rate at participating Radisson Blu, Radisson®, Park Plaza®, Park Inn by Radisson and Country Inns & Suites By Carlson^SM hotels worldwide beginning on or after May 13, 2013, and completed by July 21, 2013 (“Eligible Stays”). Bonus Points are awarded on a per stay basis regardless of the number of check-ins or check-outs during the stay.  Stays or nights paid for using Points + Cash are not eligible for this Promotion. Members only need to register once before July 21, 2013, but registration must be received before checkout of the first Eligible Stay to qualify.  Only one Club Carlson member account will be credited with Gold Points for each Eligible Stay.

Bottom Line

Unlimited promotions are one of the easiest ways to rack up large amounts of miles. The other way is to take advantage of loyalty program branded credit cards, like the Club Carlson Premier Rewards Visa Signature® Card.

Should note that Club Carlson recently devalued their points when redeemed for airline point transfers and gave zero notice to their members. I would have never used this option because I have more than enough airline miles and primarily earn hotel points to use at, you know, hotels.

But this is concerning for two reasons (1) the lack of notice and (2) points are worth less when transferred to airline points. But you can still redeem the points at the same rates for hotel redemptions, for now. So if you rack up points and miles in large quantities it’s always best to follow the earn and burn mentality. Earn your points and miles for specific redemptions and then burn at the earliest opportunity that makes sense for you.
