My favorite types of promotions are the ones which are not limited. Club Carlson currently has a 10,000 point promotional offer for each consecutive 2 night stay and the best part is it is not capped at the amount of points you can earn. The challenge now is that there is only a limited time left in the promotion period, but there is still time to rack up significant earnings and start to use those points at some of the best Club Carlson redemption opportunities with the Club Carlson properties around the world.
How To Register
- Earn 10,000 bonus Gold Points® for every eligible stay of two or more consecutive nights
- Valid now through July 21, 2013
Great Way To Earn Points For Club Carlson Properties
The 10,000 points per stay can be a great way to rack up points to redeem at some of best properties Club Carlson has to offer. For example, earlier this year we shared our Top Four Club Carlson Award Redemptions that you could use your points to redeem free hotel nights.
Another great way to earn Club Carlson points is the Club Carlson Premier Rewards Visa Signature® Card which offers a total of 85,000 bonus points after signing up and meeting spending requirements.
Card members earn points and complimentary nights at accelerated rates, and receive the benefits of Elite status, simply by using their cards. The best part is the signup bonus is large. New card members will receive 50,000 Gold Points after the first purchase plus 35,000 points once $2,500 is spent on the card within the first 90 days. Other key benefits include:
- Bonus Award Nights – when Gold Points® are redeemed for two or more consecutive award nights, the last night is free – exclusively for cardmembers!
- 10 points per dollar on eligible purchases at participating Carlson Rezidor hotels worldwide and five points per dollar everywhere else Visa is accepted
- Up to 85,000 Bonus Gold Points to start. Receive 50,000 Gold Points after your first purchase, plus 35,000 points after you spend $2,500 on your card within the first 90 days
- 40,000 bonus points each year after you renew your card and pay the low annual fee
- Automatic Gold Elite Status once the card is used. Existing Gold Elite members receive 15 qualifying nights toward Concierge Elite Status

Unlimited promotions are one of the easiest ways to rack up large amounts of miles. The other way is to take advantage of loyalty program branded credit cards, like the Club Carlson Premier Rewards Visa Signature® Card.
Should note that Club Carlson recently devalued their points when redeemed for airline point transfers and gave zero notice to their members. I would have never used this option because I have more than enough airline miles and primarily earn hotel points to use at, you know, hotels.
But this is concerning for two reasons (1) the lack of notice and (2) points are worth less when transferred to airline points. But you can still redeem the points at the same rates for hotel redemptions, for now. So if you rack up points and miles in large quantities it’s always best to follow the earn and burn mentality. Earn your points and miles for specific redemptions and then burn at the earliest opportunity that makes sense for you.
