Delta announced that they are launching a new system for when customers call in to their reservation systems.
Previously SkyMiles members would have to enter their SkyMiles number and their PIN before they would be connected to an agent.
Now, as long as the phone number you’re calling from matches your phone number on file, you’ll be connected to an agent automatically without having to enter your information.
When you call Delta Reservations, you’re about to engage in a whole new, faster experience. You’ll notice we’re introducing personalized service designed to recognize you and respond naturally to your voice.
To enjoy the convenience of our new reservations experience, here’s what you need to know:
- Make sure the phone number listed in your SkyMiles profile is current and unique to your account.
- By calling from that number, we’ll know who you are and where you’re headed — without you having to enter your SkyMiles number.
- All of your information will be seamlessly and quickly passed along to a reservations representative ready to assist you.
It’s as simple as that — and all a part of our continued investment to provide you with the very best customer service.
This will make calling Delta easier, especially if you’re on the go and on your way to the airport.
