Per this Flyertalk thread, United Airlines is offering some great prices on their routes between Seattle and Philadelphia. They are currently offering these routes for $216 round-trip and there is decent availability through March 2014.
With this deal you would earn 6,396 miles for a cost of $216.60 giving you a cost of 3.38 cents per mile, which is not too bad of a deal especially if you’re looking for a way to rack up some extra Premier Qualifying Miles before the end of the year.
This deal is available both ways, so you can start either in Seattle or in Philadelphia.
Bottom Line
If you need the Premier Qualifying Miles, then this is a great way to rack them up. For comparison, Delta just announced today that they are selling Medallion Qualifying Miles and 7,500 MQM’s would go for as much as $1,595, so while this isn’t Delta, spending $216 for 6400 United Premier Qualifying Miles isn’t a bad deal.
Don’t forget if you book these with your American Express Premier Rewards Gold, you’ll 3x points on all airline tickets.
