It’s the beginning of the new year and many of the hotel companies are kicking of their first quarter promotions, so it’s a good idea to register for all of them, because you never know where you might end up.
Current Hotel Promotions Round-Up
Here’s a run down of what each chain is offering:
Hyatt
Registration is now open for Hyatt’s Endless Possibilities Promotion.
This promotion is for stays starting on January 15, 2014 and will run through April 30, 2014. Through this promotion, you’ll have the opportunity to choose if you want to earn free nights, or bonus points.
Choose Free Nights
Earn a free night at any Category 1-4 Hyatt hotel worldwide after every five nights. Enjoy 4 free nights after you stay a maximum of 20 nights. Redeem your free nights with no blackout dates through July 31, 2014.
Choose Bonus Points
Earn 5,000 Hyatt Gold Passport bonus points after your first five nights and thousands more for every additional five nights. After 20 nights, you’ll earn 50,000 bonus points. Here’s how the points add up:
Stay 5 Nights, Earn +5,000 Points = 5,000 Total Points Earned
Stay 10 Nights, Earn +10,000 Points = 15,000 Total Points Earned
Stay 15 Nights, Earn +15,000 Points = 30,000 Total Points Earned
Stay 20 Nights, Earn +20,000 Points = 50,000 Total Points Earned
IHG Rewards
IHG Rewards launched their Big Win promotion which is valid for stays booked from January 1st through April 30, 2014 at all their brands which include InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Hotel Indigo, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Staybridge Suites, Candlewood Suites, Even, and Hualuxe hotels.
It appears that the offers depend on how much you stay with IHG, meaning that this promotion is custom for each member. You can check your offer here.
Marriott
Registration is now open for Marriott’s Spring MegaBonus promotion, where you can earn up to 2 free hotel nights with Marriott.
You’ll a free night at a category 1-4 hotel after the second paid stay, up to two free nights.
To earn up to two free nights:
- Register by March 31, 2014
- Stay between February 1 and April 30, 2014
- Earn a free night at a category 1-4 hotel after the second paid stay, up to two free nights
As a reminder the Marriott Rewards Premier Credit Card gives 50,000 bonus points after spending $1,000, which is more than enough points for a free night at any Marriott property worldwide.
Starwood
Registration is now open for Starwood’s first quarter of 2014 called Bring On The Nights which will run from January 5-April 30, 2014.
SPG Members will earn 2,500 bonus Starpoints for every five nights they stay during that period (up to 10,000 bonus Starpoints). In addition, if a members stays for 25 nights during that time, they will earn an additional 5,000 bonus Starpoints.
One good thing about this promotion is it’s valid at over 1,100 SPG participating properties meaning as long as the hotel participates in SPG, nights at that hotel will count.
The Starwood Preferred Guest Credit Card from Amex is offering 10,000 Starpoints after your first purchase on the Card and an additional 15,000 Starpoints after you make $5,000 in purchases within the first 6 months for a total of 25,000 Starpoints.
