Last year, it was announced that Delta would be partnering with Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group which owns several restaurant concepts such as Shake Shack and Blue Smoke.
Kenny Callaghan Executive Chef and Partner and Chef de Cuisine Jeffrey Held of Blue Smoke restaurant will create BusinessElite Express Meals for Delta’s three daily flights between JFK and LHR. Additionally, The Blue Smoke beverage team will create a signature cocktail for the menu. The new Express Meals and cocktail will debut in February 2014.
While, starting this Saturday February 1st, the new meal options will be featured onboard JFK-LHR flights in BusinessElite for those fliers who are hoping to partake in these new options.
Lynchburg Lemonade Signature Cocktail
This Blue Smoke-inspired Signature Cocktail features Jack Daniels Whiskey, Triple Sec and fresh squeezed lemonade.
Appetizer:
Smoked Trout Salad with Pickled Vegetables and Crackers
New Blue Smoke Meal Entrees:
Shrimp & Grits with Red Eye Gravy
Dessert:
Blue Smoke Chocolate Bar
These Blue Smoke entrées are available only to customers who choose the Dine and Rest menu option from New York to London. These are not part of their full-course meal service which is served in multiple courses.
