Can you apply this to existing accounts?
Just did it–in order to change the address on the account, it says you must contact Member Services. I used “my” address in Paris (a colleague), so it doesn’t really matter.
I wonder if they’ll take away the Gold status if you request for them to change the address to an American one–anyone know?

I signed up. It still shows Red tier status. Is the Gold status confirmation supposed to be immediate?
@Natalie: It will show Gold status on the account screen. It just shows a picture of the Red tier on the initial confirmation screen. (That’s if you did it right)
Also, this is what the CC website is showing after sign up:
“Club Carlson Silver Elite Status will be effective approximately 10 days following enrolment through to 28 February 2015” – Silver not Gold? :/

I registered for the offer using a friend’s address abroad as the offer is not available for my country.
