For two days only the price of a barrel of oil, $108 as of the close of the market on July 9, determined the price of a round-trip fare.

JetBlue is Boston’s largest carrier and we offer nonstop service to 51 destinations including three in Texas. With our Blue Barrel fares, we are turning the price of oil into a good thing. At $108, flying is the quickest and least expensive way to travel between Boston and the Lone Star state,” said Jeff Martin, senior vice president, operations, JetBlue and longtime Texas resident.”
Using TrueBlue points for these flights would cost 5,000 points, which isn’t the best redemption value, so it’s probably better just to shell out the $54 bucks.
The price of all these fares is $40 for the base fare plus $14 for taxes and fees making the total $54. This is a great deal if you’re planning on traveling between Boston and Texas in the fall!
