According to Delta, they have suspended all flights between Tel Aviv (TLV) and its New York-JFK hub. They appear to be taking precautionary measures in the wake of the Malaysia Airlines tragedy and reports of rockets landing near Tel Aviv airport. Today, they’ve diverted Delta flight 468 operated by a Boeing 747 away from Tel Aviv and to Paris.
And just last week they made an emergency landing in Tel Aviv for a flight operated by one of their 747s.
This report references rockets landing near the Tel Aviv international airport and also cites that American has suspended service to Israel as well. Passengers who have had their flights cancelled may make changes for free according to the Delta travel advisory.
