Uber recently launched a partnership with Delta, which they would start to install charging ports in their Uber cars, similar to those that are seen onboard Delta international flights.
If you haven’t tried Uber, you should! They currently offering your first ride free (up to $30).
Last week, I got into an Uber and was riding back to dinner, when I noticed the USB charging port for the first time.
I’ve enjoyed the charging ports on some of my international flights, so I could definitely see this as an added benefit, especially for those times stuck in a lot of traffic.
If you are in New York City and use Uber then look out for the charging ports. Have you seen these new charging ports in your Uber in other cities?
It’s great that there are USB charging ports in the car, but I don’t always carry around my charging cord for my iPhone, so if some drivers really wanted to up the service, possibly they would have some cords upfront

Not an uber car benefit, but in S Korea, my private car (Hyundai Equus) had a TV. That was pretty cool, especially since I know enough Korean to get by.
