Delta currently is offering targeted SkyMiles members one free month of Delta Gold Medallion status, via this offer here.
Gold Medallion status normally requires 50,000 flown miles a year and offers many perks like upgrades, priority boarding, priority security and lounge access when flying internationally.
Bottom Line
Delta loves to give out free Medallion status as targeted offers, but I never see to get targeted for them. Granted, this is only one month of free status, but you might as well see if you were targeted for this offer.
