American Airlines is giving you the chance to ‘rake in the miles’ by shopping the AAdvantage eShopping Mall and earn bonus miles based on the amount you spend.

The offer is good until October 16, 2014, and the bonus miles could take 8-10 weeks to post to your AAdvanage account.

From 10/01/14 to 10/16/14 11:59 PM EST receive a one-time bonus of up to 2,000 bonus miles from AAdvantage eShopping mall^â„ . Bottom Line:

I like the convenience of on-line shopping, and some of my favorite retailers are included in the AAdvantage eShopping mall, so I can get additional miles per dollar spent in addition to the bonus miles for spending $100, $300 or $500. eShopping is also a good way to extend the life of miles if your account hasn’t had a lot of activity posted.
