My Starbucks Rewards has put out yet another targeted promotion, and this time it’s just for two days – Saturday November 29, and Sunday November 30.  The targeted offer is for 3 bonus stars for the purchase of any baked good when I pay with my registered card with no registration necessary. The promotion allows me to use this offer as many times as I like. What is totally odd about this offer is that the photo above highlights the Cranberry Bliss Bar (above), yet the terms and conditions (below) specifically states that it excludes “Cranberry Bliss Bar trays” so I guess purchasing one counts, but don’t go crazy purchasing the tray if you want the 3 bonus stars.

Bottom Line:

Starbucks is still in the middle of a targeted “Star A Day” challenge, as well as in the business of selling a $30 tumbler that gives you free brewed coffee every day in January 2015. Starbucks seems to be upselling, and I have a feeling this won’t be the last that we see of promotions this holiday season!
