There was also a sign up bonus for joining southwest rapid rewards awhile back, think it’s still active and it’s a free 100 points.
I think the Southwest $20 off “Wanna Get Away Fares” for 100 points is a much better deal under “Rewards”. I know United Gift Certificates can NOT be used on anything other than cash tickets (can not be used for food, luggage, taxes on an award ticket, etc). Not sure about a United Gift Card though.
The whole “cannot be combined” part isn’t so good but it’s better than nothing. Thanks.
