Bottom Line
There is a potential to double with with Club Carlson to earn up to 40,000 bonus points by combining the Extend Your Stay promotion with the Mega Points Promotion. This double dip could potentially award 40,000 bonus points if you book and complete a 3 night stay at a Radisson. And that doesn’t even include the points you’ll earn if you use your Club Carlson Premier Rewards Visa Signature® Card which awards 10 points per dollar spent.

I checked a participating Radisson in the Southeast and the rate for three nights was only $65/night. The rate for Megapts was $114/night. That seems like a large discrepancy although I cannot say this is the case with all properties.
Looks to be the same for Illinois – all 3 properties run about $50 per night higher using Mega rate (roughly $160 versus $100).
Doesn’t it say 10,000 bonus points PER NIGHT? So, 3 nights with both promotions would be 60,000 points – 30k for the extend your stay and 10k x3 for each night with Mega points.
Yeah, Is there a reason why you’re saying “up to 40k” and not up to 60k per 3 night stay?

Cool, just wanted to make sure there wasn’t something I missed. Also, it’s 5% cash back at upromise for quadruple dip (if I can call the club carlson visa a triple dip)
I tried this last weekend and the points posted today with success. I used club credit card so I got close to 80,000 points. The up charge on the mega rate was about $25 a night so it was a good deal. I also went through topcashback for 5%.
Eric – That is awesome. How many nights did you stay? How many points did you earn in total from the x night stay and using your credit card?
I stayed 3 nights and earned 79,200 points. That includes the 10k early sign up bonus.
