Thinking about heading to Phoenix for the Super Bowl but, don’t have a place to stay? Well, with the Super Bowl, The Pro Bowl AND…the PGA Waste Management Phoenix Open (WMPO) all taking place in the Phoenix/Glendale area in the same week; you may find it challenging to book a reasonably priced hotel room. That said, you may find it hard to find an available hotel room at all!
Heading To The Super Bowl? It’s Not Too Late To Get A Room!
A quick search on Orbitz, left me with ZERO available rooms in Glendale for the weekend of the Super Bowl! Now, I’m sure there are some hotels with rooms that can be tracked down but, I wanted to remind you to check sites like Airbnb as an alternative option.
How Airbnb Works
Airbnb is the “Uber” of renting private residences. People can list their properties for rent, you can view them and rent them, often at a fraction of the cost and in a better location than some of the major chain hotels.
Whether an apartment for a night, a castle for a week, or a villa for a month, Airbnb connects people to unique travel experiences, at any price point, in more than 34,000 cities and 190+ countries. And with world-class customer service and a growing community of users, Airbnb is the easiest way for people to monetize their extra space and showcase it to an audience of millions.
If you are itching to go the Phoenix area for all the amazing sporting events and festivities that are going on but, don’t have any where to stay; think outside of just the usual hotel chains. Airbnb is an awesome option for situations just like this! Don’t forget that you get $25 credit on your first booking when you sign up here.
