Bottom Line
For $34, you can’t beat a flight from New York to Chicago, though don’t plan on bringing much luggage, since everything is extra with Spirit.
Have you flown Spirit Airlines before, if so let us know how bad they were!
Heck almost worth AM flight, spend day at the AMEX Centurion, fly home at night 🙂
Today, the WSJ ran the (Spirit Airlines) article, ‘This Airline Is a Complaint Magnet’, by Scott McCartney. I found his data somewhat on the high side. True bargain hunters aren’t that careless and gullible. What I wasn’t aware of, the ‘passenger usage fee’, aka credit card. Yes, I’m aware over in Europe some airlines add a percent subcharge if a credit card is used.
