SkyTeam recently opened their newest SkyTeam lounge in Sydney, Australia. In addition to this new SkyTeam lounge, SkyTeam also has lounges in London’s Heathrow Airport and Istanbul’s Atatürk Airport and plans to add more in the near future.
New SkyTeam Lounges
The third exclusive lounge in SkyTeam’s global network, the Sydney lounge is designed in SkyTeam’s trademark sleek and modern style. It offers a luxurious and spacious environment to relax pre-flight with sweeping airport views and the iconic ‘green botanical Wall’ adding a breath of fresh air. Key features and amenities include:
- Seating capacity for 140 guests, with electrical outlets available by each seat for more personal comfort and ease while charging personal electronic devices.
- Connectivity & Business amenities, with access to WIFI and business area fully equipped with printing facilities.
- Complimentary refreshments -Champagne and Wine bar carefully selected to meet tastes and choices of the guests. In addition to a wide assortment of different foods and beverages.
- Wellness center including showers and 4 full body massage chairs
- Dedicated TV room
In addition to this newest lounge in Sydney, SkyTeam’s Director of Brand & Communications, Fatima da Gloria de Sousa, that there will be more new openings soon, including in  Dubai, Hong Kong, and Beijing.
Bottom Line
It’s nice that SkyTeam is adding more lounges to their network and I can’t wait to try them out. At first glance, they look similar to the American Express Centurion lounges, so I want to see how they stack up in person.
