If you applied for the United Global Entry fee credit you’re probably in the same boat as many others. It’s time to schedule Global Entry interview and process your Global Entry application or renewal.
United Global Entry Compensation
I received my Global Entry credit through my United Platinum status I received from a United status match program I participated in in 2013. I still have Platinum Elite membership for a few more months, so I was eligible to participate in the United Global Entry Compensation. But I could have also received the $100 Global Entry credit from my The Platinum Card® from American Express which offers a $100 credit every 5 years.
United states the following requirement in order to receive the Global Entry Compensation:
We currently offer eligible Global Services℠, Premier® 1K® and Premier Platinum members compensation for their Global Entry application fee. Global Entry is a U.S. Customs and Border Protection program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States.
How To Schedule United Global Entry Interview
If you applied with United HERE for the United Global Entry Compensation your application status is likely now in the next step, the interview process.
After you enter your personalized code to pay for the Global Entry Fee, you will be notified via email that it’s time to go into the GOES website  system and schedule your interview.
Step 1. Select the Manage Interview Appointment
Log into the Goes website and select the Manage Interview Appointment. This will take you to a page where you can select the location and time for your scheduled appointment.
Step 2. Select Your Location
You will be prompted to select your location to conduct the interview. For those in Atlanta, there are two locations, one at the International Terminal and the other on Tradeport Drive.
Step 3. Select Your Time Slot
The last step is to select your time slot. You can search by day or by week to determine the best time available.
What To Bring To Global Entry Interview
Your not yet done. You still have to go to the interview. Make sure you bring the following items to the interview.
- This Letter inviting you to an interview;
- A valid passport or permanent resident card. If you travel using more than one passport, please bring them to the interview so that the information can be added to your file. This provides you with the ability to use either passport at the Global Entry kiosk;
- Documents providing evidence of residency. Examples are a drivers license (if the address is current), mortgage statement, rental payment statement, utility bill, etc.
- If you are a UK citizen and applied for Global Entry, and you are not a U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder) you must bring an original copy of your ACRO Disclosure Certificate (police certificate) to the interview.

Follow the steps above to schedule and complete your Global Entry interview. If you took advantage of the free Global Entry Credit from United or from The Platinum Card® from American Express, congratulations, you just saved $100.
