I wanted to share these pictures with you that I took of really cool cloud cover as we approached landing during the last snowstorm. Now, I am no photographer and don’t claim to be a good one. I think it is especially hard to take pictures from an airplane window, but I usually try.
Landing Into Snowstorm With Cool Cloud Cover
On this particular night we flew up north during one of the last big snow storms of winter. Flights were getting cancelled left and right this night, but luckily ours had an on time departure and we arrived into the snow covered NE.
The pilot came on and announced a little bit of choppiness upon landing due to the snowstorm. So, I checked out the window and saw the coolest cloud cover. There was a vertical cloud covering on top and one below the plane. It was like we were in the middle of two sets of clouds.

Snowstorm once we landed.
Bottom Line
This was definitely one of the more interesting sceneries I’ve had during a landing. It almost seemed surreal as I was looking out the window upon landing in this particular snowstorm.
What was your most memorable scenery during landing?
