Bacon. Need I say more? Honestly, who doesn’t like bacon? Especially when enjoyed in First Class of a Delta Jet traveling at 450+ MPH above 30,000 feet.
As boarding finished the flight attendant came around for breakfast meal options. She uttered one word and I had made up my mind. A choice of Bacon sandwich or cereal. There really wasn’t even a choice. I had to try this…for my readers of course.
Delta First Class Bacon Sandwich
I ordered a diet coke to start.Â
The Delta First Class Bacon sandwich included bacon wrapped in a grilled sandwich with egg and cheese.
The sides included yogurt and a side of fruit.
But the real delight was inside that sandwich. Check out this view where you can get a sense of the inside of the sandwich. It had a thin layer of egg and cheese which had some hint of green herb, not sure whether it was parsley or chive. The bacon had a little crisp bacon and just as expected, delicious. I didn’t eat the whole thing because I can’t imagine how many calories are in there, but I certainly wanted to.
Bottom Line
If you are a bacon lover, you will love this Delta First Class bacon sandwich. Do yourself a favor next time you have the option on a Delta flight and order this breakfast bacon sandwich. Enjoy!
We definitely have different tastes when it comes to this sandwich.
I say “blech” on this one and would not have touched it…
I know DL flight attendants can be challenged in describing their food precisely, but this one has been served to me multiple times and each time they call it an “egg sandwich” or “bacon and egg sandwich.” It’s mostly scrambled eggs, a slice of what looks like American cheese, and two strips of pretty typical commercial bacon.
I just had dinner so I’m full but that sandwich still looks delicious!
Looks yummy, not your typical airline food!!
