Back in January, Hyatt announced a very convenient new property. The Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport has been slated to open in the Spring of 2015. The hotel will have 170 guestrooms and 1,809 square feet of meeting space.
But the opening date has changed and we’ve obtained confirmation. The original date was slated as “Spring of 2015” in the press release.
CHICAGO (January 30, 2014) – Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) announced today that a Hyatt affiliate has entered into an agreement with Magill Investments Limited for a Hyatt Place hotel close to London Heathrow Airport, one of world’s busiest airports. Hyatt Place London Heathrow/Hayes is the second Hyatt Place hotel under development in Europe, joining Hyatt Place Zurich Airport. The Hyatt Place brand continues to expand outside of the United States with today’s opening of Hyatt Place Amsterdam Airport in The Netherlands, as well as recent Hyatt Place openings in Armenia, Costa Rica, India, Mexico, and Puerto Rico.
Slated to open in the spring of 2015
But according to a contact at the French Press office working for the Hyatt Hotels and Resorts for Europe, Africa, Middle East, the date will now change to the Autumn of 2015.
the opening date is postponed on Autumn 2015
Bottom Line
The Hyatt Place London Heathrow will be a very nice and convenient option to the London Heathrow airport. I could not find the award category for the hotel. But I’d anticipate it being a good price point in terms of either points or cash.
