We’ve seen a bunch of cheap flights lately from American and United, and today is no exception, as it looks like both airlines are offering some more specials on flights from Los Angeles to Chicago (ORD) starting at $40.10 (including taxes and fees) each-way for select dates. Roundtrip fares are available for around $85 as well.
You can search for these cheap flights on Orbitz or on Google Flights, which is available primarily in October, November, and December of this year.

This is a great deal if you’re looking for flights between Los Angeles and Chicago. With a total fare as low as $40 including taxes and fees each-way, it’s really hard to beat this.
Though not as lucrative as some of the past deal for miles, this is still a decent way to rack up some elite-qualifying miles, you might want to consider these domestic trips for mileage runs as well, as you’d be earning around 1,740 miles each-way.
