Thanks for headsup on this. Does it have to be one transaction of $50 or greater or it can be smaller transactions that total $50 before the deadline?
The local WF near me only carried their own gift cards. I don’t shop there very often because it’s rather expensive and I’m sure I can spend $50 easily if I go there for my weekly shop. Since I’m not very familiar with WF, I was wondering if the larger stores or any of them carry regular gift cards like for gas or department stores?
@Tony M
Whole Foods Market does not sell any 3rd party gift cards in their stores.
@Wes – thanks! Guess I just need to buy up a bunch of quinoa and sprouts!
Bill – for all the past AMEX offers with Whole Foods I’ve bought a $50 Whole Foods gift card and then used that later for my purchases since I rarely spend over $50 in one shot.
As one who buys things often at Whole Foods, we were able to sign up both of our Green Cards, my Optima and both cards on our Everyday (bonus grocery store spend plus 1.5x) for the offer. $250 spend for 5000 MR points seems like a no brainer. Thanks!
So 100 Mr instead of $10. Pretty much the same thing.
