Hyatt Gold Passport has launched an offer for Hyatt Cardholders, where they can earn 3,000 bonus Hyatt Gold Passport points just for using the card between November 1 to December 31, 2015 and spending $3,000 on it.
Shopping, dining, groceries, and more … turn your holiday purchases into Hyatt Gold Passport bonus points when you use your Hyatt Credit Card this holiday season. There’s no need to register – once you spend $3,000 or more on purchases with your card from November 1 to December 31, 2015 you’ll receive 3,000 bonus points.1
Bottom Line
I’m unaware if this is a targeted offer or not, so be sure to check your email to see if you also received this offer. Normally I don’t spend much on this card, as I keep it primarily for the annual free night at a Category 1-4 property, however with this offer, I plan to spend $3,000 on the card to get the bonus points.
Did you also receive this offer and do you plan to take Hyatt up to on it?
Targeted – I secure messaged chase and they would not add it to my account. Too much ms this year on the card, I guess.
I got the same offer
Is it worth it though?
I use my amex card for business for my hyatt stays
The offer is kinda insulting in my opinion. So you get 2 points per $1 instead of 1 for normal spend. Yawn. If you have really crappy cards aside from the Hyatt card then go for it, but 3,000 is really small change for $3,000 in spend. I guess it’s better than nothing. Thanks Hyatt…I guess.
Do you have to spend $1000 in each category to get the 3,000 point bonus or is this just an example?
Since the offer says “once you spend $3,000 or more on purchases”, I think the attached categories is only an example. So basically double Hyatt points for your first $3K spend on the card.
Also SM’d Chase and was not eligible for this ehhh offer.
