On a recent trip to The St. Regis Bahia Beach in Puerto Rico, we were happily surprised by the addition of a beach bar! While we were there over the holidays, we were able to sample what was a about a week or so new concept by the new beach/pool manager. We were pleasantly surprised to have a different dining option which included kabobs grilled to perfection right outside on the grill while you sat with your feet in the sand, sipping a cocktail and taking in the ocean breeze. Here is my review of this new beach bar, which we throughly enjoyed and ate at frequently while on our trip. You can read my review of the suite that we stayed in here and I also plan to review the other amenities of the hotel next.

As you approach the beach from the pool area, this cute little hut is the new beach bar and grill. Popular spot already!

A few seats for you to sit and enjoy if you didn’t want to sit in the lounge chairs on the beach. The coolest thing for us was that the kids could go crazy in the sand while we sat and enjoyed a little happy hour in this spot!

Gorgeous view of the beach and great breeze while you dine.

Delicious cocktails made right at the beach so you don’t have to wait long for your refreshments! Great service on the beach, the guys and gals who work out here really hustle and you can tell take a lot of pride in their work!

You could order food from the pool if you wanted kids meals for example, it just took a little longer. They cook the kabobs outside on the grill and they all had unique sauces on them. So delicious!

We tried both the chicken which had a yogurt sauce and the beef kabobs which had a vinaigrette type sauce which was so good!

Of course, they had only had this operation open for about a week when we were there so not all the kinks were worked out, yet! There was still a price tag on the little bucket that they were using to serve the beers.

Bottom Line

Overall, what an awesome addition to this hotel. We loved how casual it was down by the beach and how good the food was! We ended up eating there several times while we were there over the 6 days. We hope that they keep this beach bar open and we can enjoy it next time we are there. If you are headed to the St Regis Bahia Beach, definitely check out this little gem.
