Citi Thank You Rewards has launched a limited-time transfer bonus to Virgin Atlantic, where you can earn a 25% transfer bonus from now through April 6, 2016.

As a reminder, Citi Thank You Rewards transfer at a 1:1 ratio, but with this bonus, you’ll be earning 1,250 Virgin Atlantic Flying Club miles for every 1,000 Thank You Points.

Limited Time Offer: Transfer ThankYou Points to Virgin Atlantic and receive 25% bonus Flying Club miles. Offer is valid for Points Transfers to Virgin Atlantic completed by 11:59 PM ET April 6, 2016.

You can redeem Virgin Atlantic miles on a number of partner airlines. You can find the award chart here. For example, domestic Delta Air Lines First Class awards are only 45,000 miles and short haul one-way awards with Virgin America go for as little as 10,000 miles.

Bottom Line

This isn’t the most exciting transfer bonus, but it’s nice to see that Citi is getting in the game of transfer bonuses. American Express has cut back significantly lately, and Chase doesn’t offer them, so here’s to hoping that Citi will be offering more in the future.

Virgin Atlantic miles are useful with their partner airline Delta, but come with higher fuel surcharges.
