Great news if you’re a flyer into New York’s JFK airport, and are looking for a cheaper option to head into Manhattan. Lyft just announced they’ve lowered their Lyft Line pricing from JFK into the city to only $35, which is a great option for those wanting a ride-sharing option without the high price.
If you haven’t signed up for Lyft yet, you can also do so via my referral and get $50 in free ride credit.
To score the $35 fares, you must be headed from JFK into Manhattan and choose the Lyft Line option in the app.
Getting Picked Up at JFK
Once you grab your baggage, request a Lyft Line ride by selecting your terminal and door location in the app. Your driver will meet you outside of your terminal’s baggage claim on the arrivals level.
Offer Details
Limited time only. $1 for an additional rider. Only applies to Line rides which originate at JFK International Airport and end in Manhattan. Subject to Lyft’s Terms of Service.
Bottom Line
This is a great option, and I’ll be sure to use it my next time from JFK. It will be interesting to see if Uber decides to match these fares.

There is an even cheaper way to get to Manhattan I always use.
That’s $5 for the AirTrain plus $2.50 or something for a subway ride.
Even though we are always two people, it is just $15 which is still lower than $36.
What about from LGA? I haven’t lived in NYC in 25 years, so I’m so out of touch. What’s the cheapest way in? TIA!
