If there’s an airline that offers great customer service, it’s Delta, and yesterday was a prime example of how this airline really went above and beyond for their passengers after a flight delay.
Delta’s flight from Denver to New York, was severely delayed so the airline decided to buy passengers Einstein bagels, and what a hit they were by the passengers!

They also had drinks, bottled water and snacks.
Customers were able to help themselves to these goodies a the gate.
Bottom Line
Delays happen, but Delta really tries to go above and beyond for its passengers, and this example of how their airport customer service team in Denver did that!

Was on a severely delayed flight MIA-MCO… Nothing was done by MIA crew but upon landing, noticed that the delayed passengers on the next flight were given Burger King for the delay. Nice gesture of very little cost to the airline.
Flight on 04/01 DTW to BHM was delayed 3 hours due to equipment issue on the inbound flight. What did Delta do for us? Zero … zip … zilch … nada.
Over my few years of frequent Drlta flights, they never once did anything to help during a delay. Nothing.
On the other hand, I was once delayed a few hours on a Southwest flight, and they kinda provided each person on the plane w/ a travel voucher. That’s what I am talking about! Incentivize folks to come back! And this is why I love SW.
Delta* and kindly* ^^^
Yay Delta. We were delayed for a couple of hours coming out of Dulles last year and they brought out some of those Delta cookies. No more loyalty program, doubled the fares but I managed to snag TWO packages of cookies. Delta – the best!
