Tomorrow may be your last chance to status match to JetBlue. This was originally supposed to expire on 5/31/16 as posted below, but they extended it through 6/30/16. Maybe it will be extended again but, if you had planned on trying for the match, you can read up on how to do so below.

Last Chance For JetBlue Status Match

As previously posted…JetBlue has both a status match and status challenge program going on right now, which are valid through May 31, 2016. If you have status with one of several airline loyalty programs (including the Southwest Companion Pass) you can upload your proof of status in one of the specified loyalty programs for consideration. Acceptable proof includes a copy of your statement or current credentials card.

JetBlue Status Match

If you have elite status on another airline, enter the Mosaic Status Match, and if you qualify, we’ll grant you Mosaic through the rest of 2016. Plus, you’re automatically registered into the Mosaic Challenge, where you can earn Mosaic membership through 2017 if completed. You will have 90 days to earn 3,750 base flight TrueBlue points during your Challenge period to qualify for Mosaic through December 31, 2017. As a reminder, you earn 3 base flight points for every eligible dollar you spend on JetBlue-operated flights.

JetBlue Status Match Set To End Tomorrow

Normally, you can qualify for JetBlue Mosaic status by:

  •  flying 30 segments plus 12,000 base flight points within a calendar year
  • earning 15,000 base flight points within a calendar year.
  • spending $50,000 on the The JetBlue Plus Card annually

You must be currently enrolled in one of the following airline loyalty programs
with the specified status:

  • Virgin America®: Elevate® Silver, Elevate® Gold
  • Alaska Airlines®: Mileage Plan™; MVP® Gold or MVP® Gold 75k
  • American Airlines®: AAdvantage Platinum® or Executive Platinum®
  • Delta®: SkyMiles Medallion® Gold, Platinum or Diamond
  • Southwest Airlines®: Rapid Rewards® A-List Preferred or Companion Pass
  • United®: MileagePlus® Premier® Gold, Platinum or Premier1K®
  • Emirates: Emirates™; Skywards‎ Silver, Gold or Platinum

Fine Print

(a) TrueBlue Mosaic® Status Match & Challenge Terms: You must apply for the TrueBlue Mosaic Status Match & Challenge by May 31, 2016 (11:59 PM EST) at https://trueblue.jetblue.com/web/trueblue/mosaic-challenge. Eligible airline loyalty programs and statuses for the Mosaic Status Match are: Delta® SkyMiles Medallion® Gold, Platinum or Diamond ; United® MileagePlus® Premier® Gold, Platinum or Premier1K®; American Airlines® AAdvantage Platinum® or Executive Platinum®; Southwest® Rapid Rewards® A-List Preferred or Companion Pass; Virgin America® Elevate® Silver or Gold; Alaska Airlines® Mileage Plan™ MVP® Gold or MVP® Gold 75k and Emirates™; Skywards‎ Silver, Gold or Platinum. Travelers showing valid enrollment and status with an eligible loyalty program will qualify for TrueBlue Mosaic status for the remainder of 2016;. Mosaic status and benefits will not be effective until JetBlue notifies you via email of your Mosaic status; no retroactive Mosaic status or benefits will be granted. Members who qualify for Mosaic status by means of the Mosaic Status Match will not be awarded 15,000 qualifying bonus points. JetBlue will have the right to deny any application or to refuse entry into the Challenge or to deny Mosaic status to anyone, in JetBlue’s sole discretion. In order to successfully complete the Challenge, accepted participants must earn 3,750 base flight TrueBlue points within the 90-day period specified by JetBlue, in its sole discretion. Base flight TrueBlue points are the 3 points per $1 that TrueBlue members earn on the base fare of their individual JetBlue flight. JetBlue flights are flights operated by JetBlue and purchased with a JetBlue flight number. All other bonus points, partner points, booking bonuses or any other points will not count towards the 3,750 point requirement. You must enter your TrueBlue number at the time of booking a JetBlue flight in order to earn TrueBlue points towards the Challenge. The amount of base flight points earned by a Challenge participant will be solely determined by JetBlue and its tallying. JetBlue will be the sole and official timekeeper that will determine, in its sole discretion, when the 90-day Challenge period for a participant begins and ends. Whether or not a Challenge participant has completed the Challenge and earned TrueBlue Mosaic will be solely determined by JetBlue. JetBlue shall not be obligated to review any records or other documents or information from Challenge participants or to consider any arguments by Challenge participants. JetBlue shall have the right to disqualify from the Challenge any participant JetBlue deems, in its sole discretion, has violated the terms of the Challenge or engaged in any type of fraud, misrepresentation or improper conduct. JetBlue may, in its sole discretion and for any reason, without notice or liability, modify or terminate the Challenge at any time. All deadlines based on Eastern Standard Time. (b) JetBlue flights are flights operated by JetBlue and purchased under a JetBlue flight number. Base flight points are the 3 points per $1 you earn on the base fare of your individual JetBlue flight purchase. A “segment” means any origin-destination pair; a one-way flight (whether non-stop or including a connection) is one segment, and a roundtrip flight (whether non-stop or including a connection) is two segments. Award flights do not count towards Mosaic. Mosaic membership is good for one calendar year. Additional restrictions apply. See the TrueBlue Terms and Conditions for details.

Bottom Line

Now through May 31, 2016, you can take advantage of JetBlue’s status match or status challenge program.

As a reminder, you can pick up the new JetBlue Plus Card from Barclays and earn 30,000 bonus points after $1,000 in purchases in the first 90 days or the JetBlue Card and earn 10,000 bonus points after you spend $1,000 on purchases in the first 90 days, which can be redeemed for JetBlue Mint.
