American Express has launched their latest partner transfer bonus, and this one is a lucrative 50% transfer bonus (note this is targeted, and you’ll need to login to see if you’re eligible) through November 17, 2016 when transferring American Express Membership Rewards to Starwood Preferred Guest points.

Starwood Preferred Guest has long been a partner of American Express, however, it’s been a while since we’ve seen a transfer bonus, so I’m pleased to hear that one is finally here.

Membership Rewards normally transfer to British Airways Avios at 1,000 Membership Rewards points to 333 Starpoints, but with this promotion you’ll receive 500 Starpoints per each 1,000 Membership Rewards points.

• Business Green Rewards Card from American Express
• The Business Gold Rewards Card from American Express
• The Business Platinum Card® from American Express

If you’re looking for other ways to earn SPG points, consider the Starwood Preferred Guest Credit Card from American Express.

I wouldn’t just transfer American Express points to Starwood without a specific redemption in mind, however the 50% transfer bonus is nice and is definitely something to consider, especially with the Marriott merger.
