And don’t forget to check out the awesome Centurion Lounge in the Las Vegas Airport, Las Vegas Amex Centurion Lounge (review.)
Would this work with the Prestige 4th night free, thus making it 4 night for the price of 2?
Jenny, never spend 4 nights in Vegas. Ever:)
Really? I’ve never been there–maybe for good reason!
I am kinda joking. But Vegas is a bit much after 2 or 3 days. There is a lot to do off the Strip too but it’s all a bit overwhelming(and no longer cheap). YMMV.
Based on your recommendation of the LAS Amex lounge, I assume you have a Platinum Amex. Did you consider booking an FHR property? The Bellagio currently offers a 3rd night free via FHR, if I recall. Other FHR properties offer the 4th night free, but I agree that 4 nights is too much if you’re doing it right.
Any idea if you still get credit for nights/points using this rate? Can you book this on IHG website, or have to book through Venetian’s site?
@Dale. I did this 3 for 2 back in January at the Venetian. No points or stay credit as IHG site rate was a good bit higher than Venetian/Palazzo site. I always check in at the “Invited/IHG” desk at either hotel and they usually apply my IHG number to the stay but so far no luck. I even used my IHG card(for which I got 5X points for spend) but the stay was still not credited. Things may have changed by now but it’s doubtful.
As an aside, Priceline bidding can almost always score a cheaper room even when paying for three full nights. Use 5 star Northeast Strip(the Trump is now Northwest Strip..thankfully!). BTW, only 4 hotels are included here…Venetian/Palazzo and Wynn/Encore…all very nice properties.
@Geoff – thanks for the feedback, what I thought on the points. Agree with you on Priceline bidding but that only guarantees you 1 bed right? Wife wants 2 queen beds, since there will be 3 people. Third night free sounds great, but that’s based on Flexible Rate, and Advance Purchase does save you a good chunk, and if you go through cashback site, you can save even more. The 3 for 2 still saves you $, but not as much as you think in long-run…
