One of my favorite hotels I traveled to last year was the Andaz Peninsula Papagayo, Costa Rica, see Hotel Review: Andaz Suite at the Andaz Peninsula Papagayo, Costa Rica.

While I’d normally recommend taking advantage of the fact that it’s only a Category 4 property, meaning you can use 15,000 points per night, Points + Cash at $100 plus 7,500 points per night, or if you’re a holder of the Hyatt Visa card, you’re able to redeem your annual free night here, they’re having a special sale right now that you may want to check out.

Bottom Line

Be sure to check out this sale that’s going on now for select dates in February, March, April, and May of this year. You can reserve your room on their site, then email reservations after to have them apply the $50 resort credit.

As it doesn’t say which rates are included/excluded, I would be under the impression that any corporate rate should be eligible, specifically since it states “Offer is available for all room categories and combinable with all other promotions.”

Searching my corporate rate pulls up a worldwide rate of $255. Once booked you can then email their local reservations team to have the $50 nightly credit applied.

  1. While $50 is $50, the nightly(semi-variable) resort fee down there eats up all of it and then some.
Be sure to factor that in to any calculations. Otherwise, it’s a very nice, if not secluded, resort.
15,000 Hyatt points or the Cat 4 free night(credit card) is a very good deal instead.
