Starwood has launched another targeted promotion, which allows SPG members to earn double Elite Qualifying Nights and Stay Credits through May 15, 2017 with no limit. With this offer, you earn SPG Platinum Status after 13 stays or 25 nights, instead of the normal 25 stays or 50 nights.
Elite Status – On the Double:
We want to ensure that you’re able to enjoy elite benefits, including Free Night Awards, Award Flights, late checkouts, welcome gifts and more. So we’re bringing you a special offer to help you renew your SPG® elite status twice as fast.
It’s simple: Register by April 15, 2017, and you’ll earn double elite-qualifying credit on all your stays between February 15 and May 15, 2017 — with no earning limits. For example, if you have five eligible stays and 10 eligible nights during the promotion, SPG will credit you 10 stays and 20 nights toward elite status.
Get on the fast track toward elite status by booking stays at any of our more than 1,300 hotels and resorts in the SPG program.
Bottom Line
If you’re looking to earn even more Elite Qualifying credit, both the  Starwood Preferred Guest Credit Card from American Express and the Starwood Preferred Guest® Business Credit Card from American Express earn 2 stays/5 nights annually for a combined total of 4 stay credits and 10 nights each year.

Nada – I never get any targeted offers.
SPG 50 Night Platinum
This is a cruel joke for quite a lot of spg followers at Flyer Talk, including me spg50 for 4 yrs, 0 offers lifetime.
I got it. First targeted offer that I can remember. Platinum for 9 years (not contiguous). Haven’t stayed since October though, so seems like they know what they’re doing. Makes it easier for me to make the leap of faith to go for lifetime Platinum even though who knows what SPG looks like next year.
