On a recent trip to Las Vegas, I decided to stay at the Bellagio Las Vegas, as I’ve never stayed here before and was able to find a decent price for this mid-week trip.
This property is part of the Fine Hotels and Resorts program for those holding the American Express Platinum Card or the The Business Platinum Card® from American Express OPEN.

- Daily breakfast for two people: $30 per person, per day valid at Cafe Bellagio, The Buffet, Pool Cafe, Palio, or Cafe Gelato

As I arrived early, there weren’t any upgrades available, however I was assigned a Resort View King which had a decent view of the pool and grounds.

In addition to the nightly resort fee, the hotel charges a $40 spa facility fee to use the steam room, sauna, and hot tubs.

Bottom Line
I was impressed with this property and the level of detail throughout the grounds. Booking through American Express Fine Hotels and Resorts was a great choice, since its adds a bunch of value for my stay.
If you hold either the Platinum Card® from American Express and The Business Platinum Card® from American Express OPEN, be sure to take advantage of this great property.
However, similar to most Vegas hotels, they do tack on a hefty $35 plus tax resort fee coming to almost $40 per night which basically just includes internet and access to the fitness center. Fine Hotels and Resorts guests are given a meager $5 credit of this for Wi-Fi.

can’t quite explain it, but the Bellagio just doesn’t do it for me. a lot of guests walking around with a big ego. and even though it’s perfectly-kept, it’s still a gaudy casino. i’d rather be at one of the other gaudy casinos, save a little $ on my room rate, and be around people more focused on just having fun. your thoughts on how the Bellagio “vibe” compares to others?
I also stayed in the Bellagio recently on an FHR stay. They’re very generous with the breakfast/property credits, but not so much with the room-upgrades. I reserved a Salon Suite, which wasn’t going for that much more than a basic room, and loved it even though no upgrade was available. I ended up in the Spa Tower, which I kind of preferred it because it seems more bright, clean and modern than the main tower.
I enjoyed my stay at Bellagio, but I believe I’m more of a “Wynn” guy. The generous FHR credits at Bellagio will make me think twice though on future stays.
Yes, I love this hotel. We stayed for my 21st birthday, so it was a lot of fun! 😉
Using FHR u can’t go wrong with delano
60.00 to use day of check in and you get another 60.00 to use next day before check out plus 100.00 resort credit for spa or more food. Rooms usally 100-150 a night makes this a great bargain. I liked the boutique feel of hotel with the benefit of being connected to Mandalay Bay. Also stayed at aria and would choose delano again. Also tables limits were less than
Old and tired – does not look like the rooms have been updated since I last stayed there a dozen years ago. With the ripoff resort charges, you might as well take a discount offer from a newer competitor. And not sure how useful the free buffet breakfast is unless you have time to burn.
