We recently covered about how the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar is officially open, however orginially it was only welcoming invited guests this month with reservations being accepted starting May 29, 2017 for all guests. However, it turns out that the hotel is now opened as of May 8, 2017 for everyone.
However with the official opening, only 300 rooms at the Grand Hyatt will be open of the 1800 rooms along with a handful of restaurants and the casino. In addition those looking to access the Grand Club lounge will also have to wait as club level rooms aren’t quite open yet.
Once complete Baha Mar will feature three resorts, the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar, the SLS Lux, and a Rosewood property. If you’re looking to book the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar, it is a World of Hyatt Category 5 property meaning free nights will go for 20,000 points per night, or Points + Cash is available for 10,000 points plus $125 per night.
If you’re looking to stay tomorrow night, there is still last-minute point redemption as well as Points + Cash availability. I’ve checked most of the summer and it seems to be wide open, so you shouldn’t have any problem redeeming your points here.
Do you have plans booked to head to Baha Mar yet? Feel free to share below when you’re planning on going!
Will be there on Wednesday.
