American Express is out with a new business card, The Blue Business℠Plus Credit Card from American Express which replaces The Blue for Business Credit Card. This card has a solid offering. Additionally, you will earn 2x Membership Rewards points on your first $50,000 in spend on the card per calendar year (and then one point per dollar thereafter.) The Blue Business℠Plus Credit Card from American Express is definitely valuable for your first $50k in spend with no annual fee. Are you a Sole Proprietor?
You don’t have to have a big business to have a business card. If you have a small business, (for example, even if you sell on eBay or rent your house out on AirBnB) you don’t need an EIN to apply for a Business card, you can use your Social Security number instead and put down that that you are a sole proprietor.
Bottom Line
I actually hold the The Blue for Business Credit Card so it will be interesting to see if everyone will be converted over to The Blue Business℠Plus Credit Card from American Express. If you are looking for a no annual fee card, this is one to look at as it should be easy to get good value out of it. Of course you will also have access to Amex Offers for You which is another great perk for a no fee card!
