Back in 2015, Uber and Starwood joined up and you could earn Up To 4 SPG Points/$ With Uber Partnership. Then as of 2/1/17, the earnings dropped to 1 Starpoint per $2 spent on Uber and 2 Starpoints per dollar spent on Uber while you are staying at a Starwood hotel.
No More Starpoints For Uber Rides
Onemileatatime reports that the last day to earn Starpoints for Uber rides will be December 17, 2017. There is no real announcement that I can find at this time, so we will keep you posted as we learn more about the end to this partnership.

Bottom Line
Marriott/Starwood merged last year, so maybe Marriott wasn’t a fan of this partnership. Uber has also partnered with American Express recently and reportedly will launch their own credit card as well. Are you sad to see this Starwood/Uber partnership end?
