The problem with Starbucks is that their baristas are not trained or not updated with their latest developments or promos. They make so many mistakes that I am constantly reaching out to their social team to correct the errors they make. Errors such as not using the codes I am given, using or not using the star points as requested, and the same with using or not using the funds on my app on our card. This is not one or two isolated incidents, we encounter this incompetence everywhere we go!!! Yesterday, my wife tried the above offer and the barista (Costa Mesa store) told her mistakenly that this was good for Grande beverage and not venti. He scanned the barcode first before placing the order and thus couldn’t use it again when she ordered. He had to manually deduct the second beverage amount from the final charge. The drink (Double Chocolaty Chip Crème Frappuccino Blended Crème) lacked the main ingredient, the Chocolate chips, and the chocolate syrup on top! And when I tried the offer at a different store (Fountain Valley) not only the barista was unaware of the offer, he was questioning its authenticity!!! The drinks there were just as badly made! What gives!!!
Very nice starbucks
