Per The Cheat Sheet:

  • A baby: Almost every airline now charges to check a bag, and one Air France passenger flying from Istanbul to Paris Charles de Gaulle got caught bringing a 2 month year old through in her carry-on luggage.
  • Venomous snakes: We’ve all heard of “Snakes on a Plane” the movie, but how about snakes at security. One passenger leaving South Korea headed to Atlanta casually tried to bring 30 poisonous snakes with him.
  • 200 poisonous tarantulas: Passengers should realize that when they’re going through security their bags are actually being X-rayed and checked for suspicious items meaning if you’re trying to pass through 200 spiders you’re gonna get caught. A few years ago that’s what happened to a German couple trying to bring wildlife back from Peru to Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport.
