Bottom Line
Check this award sale out if you are heavy in Mileage Plan miles and need some award miles to save some miles.
Alaska already has a 5,000 mile award for short flights. I believe it is for flights under 750 miles. Those flights costs 5,000-10,000 miles.
If more of those short flights are being offered at 5,000 miles that is good. However, I don’t think Alaska’s sale is for medium distance flights for 5,000 miles.
