Last month, Uber announced Cool New Safety Features With App they also announced a Partnership With Venmo. Uber is very convenient already and I appreciate all that Uber seems to be doing to make using them even easier. Here are 3 new improvements that they are rolling out to make your experience better:

  • Easily share with driver where you are waiting or what color your are wearing with a tap. These messages are read out loud to your driver.

  • Spotlight, a colored light that you can hold up in the dark to help your driver spot you.

  • Guarantee pick up time. Schedule your ride at least 30 mins in advance and you driver will arrive on time – or you get free credits toward your next ride.

Whether you have an early flight or an important meeting, schedule your ride in advance to be certain you’ll leave on time.
