While this isn’t that great in some ways. Marriott has United at 3:1.1 plus a promo where they give you 15,000 points bonus for every 60,000 you transfer plus United giving 30% could create some sweet spots for those looking to top up for a UA award at a little better than 2:1 ratio or roughly 35,750 UA miles for every 60,000 Marriott points if my math isn’t too far off. So say UA miles are worth 1.5 cents each and Marriott about .7 cent each which isn’t the worse exchange I’ve ever seen for hotel points to miles.
