Last year, Delta Air Lines launched their inaugural A350 service from Detroit (DTW) to Tokyo Nartia (NRT). Since then it’s been expanded on several international routes including one of their four daily flights from Detroit to Amsterdam.
However for those looking to fly onboard this aircraft and don’t have any transoceanic flights coming up, you’re in luck as it appears that Delta is operating a flight from Atlanta to Seattle onboard their A350-900 aircraft on February 28, 2019.
The great news is that ticket prices are quite reasonable. Main Cabin fares are selling for $268. Comfort + (which is actually the Premium Select cabin) starts at $548. However, to get the best experience, you’ll want to book a Delta One Suite, which is being sold as a First Class fare for $753.
Additionally, as this is a domestic route, complimentary Medallion upgrades would apply to both the Delta One Suites and the Premium Select for eligible travelers, making this a great opportunity.
Well I don’t expect this from happening, Delta never guarantees a specific aircraft, as equipment changes could happen, but it’s highly unlikely this will occur.
If you’re looking for another Delta flight opportunity to take part in, be sure to check out Delta’s inaugural A220 routes launching service in January from New York (LGA) to Boston and Dallas Ft. Worth.
Are any Delta enthusiasts booking onboard the A350-900 for this rare domestic flight? Feel free to share in the comments below.Â
I have already purchased my ticket for seat 2A. Super excited for the opportunity!
