Delta Air Lines announced they’d be serving their 330th destination in their global network as they add Hilton Head Island (HHH) service this summer. Delta will offer three daily flights from Atlanta beginning May 23, 2018 as well as summer seasonal service from New York’s LaGuardia Airport starting June 8.
Delta will operate both these routes with Embraer 170 aircraft with 9 First Class seats, 20 Comfort+ and 40 Main Cabin seats.
Per Delta,
Daily flights to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport will begin on May 23 and seasonal Saturday service to New York’s LaGuardia Airport begins June 8. The new service will provide convenient connections to and from one of the Southeast’s premiere beach and golf destinations for customers around the United States and across the world.Â
With the addition of Hilton Head, Delta will serve five destinations in the Palmetto State complementing Charleston, Columbia, Myrtle Beach and Greenville/Spartanburg service.

Bottom Line
It’s exciting to see Delta continue to expand their domestic service as they add Hilton Head Island (HHH). Currently American Eagle offers service from Charlotte (CLT) to Hilton Head, and United Express will launch seasonal service this summer to Chicago O’Hare, Newark, and Washington-Dulles.
Delta already serves Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV) which is about a 45 minute drive away from Hilton Head Island, so these flights, will be a nice option if looking to go to Hilton Head, as the airport is located on the island.
