One of my favorite perks from both the Platinum Card® from American Express and The Business Platinum Card® from American Express is the ability to book hotels through the Fine Hotels and Resorts program. This is especially true is Las Vegas as there are many hotels participating in the program, and generally the rates are reasonably priced.

Booking through Fine Hotels and Resorts entitles you to the following benefits:

  • Noon check-in, when available
  • Room upgrade upon arrival, when available (usually suite upgrades)
  • Daily breakfast for two people
  • Guaranteed 4pm late check-out
  • Complimentary Wi-Fi
  • A unique property benefit (such as a $100 hotel credit or $100 dining credit)

When it comes to Las Vegas, the unique property benefit for most of the hotels is a $100 spa services credit which can be used the spa. In the past, some hotels offered a $100 food and beverage credit or resort credit, but since have realized that the spa credit is less likely to be used, so have all switched to that.

However, there’s currently a great deal being offered at Bellagio, which appears to be going on from now through December 31, 2019 on bookings of 2 nights or more. In addition to all the regular Fine Hotels and Resorts benefits you’d normally receive, you’ll also get a $100 food and beverage credit for your stay.

This is great offer considering the rates for Bellagio are usually around $200, you’re receiving a tremendous value when you factor in the spa services credit along with the food and beverage credit, not even including the breakfast benefit each morning.

The only negative about Vegas hotels is the resorts fees that all the properties charge. Bellagio has a $45 resort fee each night plus tax.
