The Le Centre Sheraton Montreal is located in the heart of the city center if you’re looking to explore the downtown area. It’s a Marriott Category 5 property meaning it will cost 35,000 points per night if you’re looking to redeem Marriott Bonvoy points.
In terms of renovation, Deluxe and Club Level rooms have been renovated, whereas Traditional rooms have not. I was assigned a renovated Club Level double room with access to the Club Lounge on the 37th floor, with views of the city.
After a delayed flight, I didn’t arrive to the hotel till after midnight, however I did check-in using the mobile app and was notified that my room was ready hours before making it to the front desk. Marriott Platinum, Titanium, and Ambassadors have access to the hotel’s club lounge.
Lobby area at the Sheraton offers several computers for complimentary guest use.

The bathroom was spacious and featured a walk-in shower, however given the size I was surprised it didn’t have two sinks instead of just one, but offered lots of counter space as a result.

The Sheraton Club Lounge is located on the 37th floor and features breakfast during the week until 9:30am, and on the weekends until 10:30am. Evening hors d’oeuvres are served from 5pm-8pm nightly.

Located on the 6th floor was the hotel’s pool and fitness center. In addition to the indoor pool there’s a hot tub as well.
The fitness center is open 24 hours a day and accessible with your key card.
Outside the fitness center on the 6th floor, there’s a nice seating area with chaise lounges.
Bottom Line
If you’re headed to Montreal and wondering which Marriott property to stay in here, the Sheraton Le Centre Montreal is a great option due to the city center location and newly renovated guest rooms. If you’re a elite member, then you’ll benefit from the Sheraton Club lounge, which offers complimentary breakfast and evening appetizers as well as non-alcoholic drinks.
All the staff I interacted with here were very friendly including the front desk agents and in the club lounge. If there’s one caveat it’s that only 3 of the 6 elevators go to the club lounge, so if you’re looking to head up there, chances are you’ll have to either switch elevators or wait for one on the correct side.
Additionally, the hotel has a nice size gym for a hotel, which is always an added bonus when choosing between which hotel to stay at in a city.
If you’re in need of Marriott Bonvoy points, you can transfer at a 1:1 ratio from Chase Ultimate Rewards. See Transferring Chase Ultimate Rewards to Hotel Partners.
